Core Objective and Risk
Celestial Egg Hunter: Sky Dash is a reflex-based arcade game where you guide a small character through an open sky. The goal is simple: collect as many shiny eggs as possible while avoiding dark, spoiled eggs. Every good egg increases your score, but a single touch from a bad egg ends the session instantly. There are no extra lives or power-ups—your run continues only as long as you avoid mistakes.
Controls and Platform Support
On a computer, you steer the character by moving your mouse. On a touchscreen, a tap or drag moves it. The controls are designed to feel natural from the first attempt, so no tutorial is needed. Full-screen mode is available for a more focused view, which can help you track eggs across the screen.
Escalating Pace and Patterns
Eggs begin moving slowly and predictably, giving you time to learn the basics. As you collect more good eggs, the speed gradually increases. Eggs appear faster and in trickier arrangements, forcing you to rely on sharp reflexes and precise timing. The difficulty curve is smooth but relentless—there are no levels or breaks, just a continuous climb in speed until you make a mistake.
Visual Feedback and Session Flow
The graphics use bright, cheerful colors with smooth animations that keep the screen readable. The sky background shifts slightly as you play, offering a subtle sense of progress. Sound effects are minimal but clear, signalling when you collect a good egg or hit a bad one. Each round lasts only as long as you can avoid errors, making it easy to play a few quick attempts during a break. Your best score is tracked and displayed on a leaderboard, so you can compare your performance with other players.
