Core Arena Loop
Blob Growth Action Game places you in a bright, top-down arena as a small cell. Your objective is straightforward: consume smaller cells to increase your size and strength. The arena fills with different cell types, and the longer you survive, the more crowded it becomes. Growth and survival pull against each other, so every approach carries some risk.
Mouse Controls and Rushing
You steer the blob with the mouse. To interact with another cell, you click and hold to rush toward it. That single input covers both movement and engagement, which keeps the control scheme simple. A pause feature is available through the middle mouse button or the P key, giving you a moment to assess the screen when conditions get busy.
Reading Cell Colors
Color is the main information channel. Some cells are safe to eat and help the blob grow; others can shrink the blob or end the session. Because each cell type behaves differently, you cannot treat every contact the same way. Learning which colors to chase and which to avoid is the central skill, and it matters more than raw speed.
Upgrades and Endurance
Points earned during play can be spent on upgrades that customize the blob and improve its abilities. These upgrades feed back into the same loop: a stronger blob can handle more of the arena, but the arena also becomes more crowded over time. Sessions can be short or long, and the HTML5 build runs in a browser without extra plugins.
